Responsibilities Provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth, meeting patient volume goals for both settings. Lead clinic staff (X‑Ray Technologists, Nurses, Front Office Specialists) in behaviors, actions, and attitude to deliver excellent patient care. Guide staff to ensure professional services and patient satisfaction. Perform duties included in the SCRIBE job description. Discuss and review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications. Ask situation‑specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses and provide guidance. Engage with clinical leadership, escalating to management when appropriate to ensure strong patient care and resolve concerns. Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner and forward charts as appropriate daily. Implement clinical and telehealth protocols as outlined by the CMO and Supervising Physicians. Analyze and interpret patients' histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses. Deliver diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations with attention to patient‑centric care, safety, cost, and reliability. Ensure activities align with department expectations and comply with federal and state regulations, including HIPAA. Work efficiently in a fast‑paced, autonomous environment within both in‑patient clinic and virtual settings. Pursue queue of telehealth patients in a timely fashion for proper follow‑up. Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications responsibly, and educate patients on acute and chronic conditions. Adhere to clinical practice guidelines by the Office of Medical Affairs. Attend mandatory monthly meetings with supervising physicians and complete E/M training. Perform responsibilities within standard NP/PA protocols. Complete all mandatory compliance training to meet and exceed quality of care standards. Adhere to the core values of teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality of care, and friendliness. Recommend ideas within the clinic and to telehealth leadership to improve patient experience and care. Communicate regularly within the team in all necessary manners to support excellent patient care. Welcome new employees on their first day, facilitate introductions, clinic tours, and overview of clinic processes. Assist new employees with learning activities and required training. Provide job shadowing, demonstration, and coaching opportunities to support new employee training. Build and maintain confidence and credibility with all employees. Maintain friendly and cordial relations with clients and employees, fostering a positive work atmosphere. Perform physical, sensory, cognitive, and environmental functions of the position as specified on the physical demands. Knowledgeably comply with company standards of operations. Promote and maintain a respectful culture of employee, employer, and business confidentiality. Consult with patients through virtual communication channels. Perform other duties as assigned by management. PRN Employees are required to work a minimum of four shifts per month. Full‑time Employees are required to work 12‑hour shifts and every other weekend. Provide on‑call service periodically throughout the year for ancillary providers. Preferred Experience Experience working as a Telehealth Clinician. Experience Requirements and Preferences Education Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) and/or master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies (MMS). Experience At least 1–2 years of experience as a provider in a relevant practice such as Urgent Care, Occupational Medical Facility, ER, Trauma Unit, or Family Medical Practice. Current License or Certification License and DEA must be active, in good standing, and verifiable with the appropriate regulatory agency. DEA is required for all providers; limited cases based on state law may require DEA within 120 days of meeting minimum years of practice. Providers must be able to treat all ages and meet credentialing requirements. DOT certification is required within 120 days of employment for full‑time and part‑time providers and must be maintained during employment.
