Nurse's Etc. Staffing, a proud veteran and minority-owned healthcare staffing agency, is seeking experienced Speech Language Pathologist for an exciting contract opportunity. Area: Katy Independent School District

Contract Length: 08/12/26 to 05/26/27, 42 weeks

Schedule: MondayFriday

Shift: 7:00 AM 2:45 PM

Pay for travel: $2,108 ($862 taxable + $1,246 stipend) $22/hr Pay for local: $51/hr

Other Details:

• SLP-As are not eligible for this position
• School-based experience preferred
• High school caseload. We also have Middle school and Elementary openings
• Full time and Part time available

Requirements:

• SLP State Certification
• Pediatric experience
• ASHA Certification Preferred

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve communication skills and support academic success.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate speech and language goals into students' educational programs.
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, providing clear reports and updates on student progress.
• Monitor progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as needed based on ongoing assessments and collaboration.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports.
• Stay current with best practices through research and ongoing professional development.
