Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift, 3 - 12 hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM).

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for a Med/Surg Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will have strong recent experience in medical-surgical telemetry nursing, providing care for patients with various medical conditions, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with more complex medical interventions as necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patient conditions, providing critical data for treatment plans.
• Administer medications and treatments in adherence to established protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families regarding health management and procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 18 months recent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry nursing.
• Active Permanent Ohio License or Compact State License.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• References from managers or supervisors within the last 12 months are mandatory.
