Manufacturing Operations Manager - CNC Production Charlotte, NC The Manufacturing Operations Manager – CNC oversees day‑to‑day machining operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality production across all CNC equipment. This role leads a team of machinists and programmers, drives throughput and process consistency, and partners closely with engineering, maintenance, and quality to meet customer and operational requirements. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop CNC machining teams, including scheduling, training, performance management, and daily workflow coordination. Optimize production processes, by improving setup times, tooling strategies, machine utilization, and overall throughput. Ensure quality and compliance through adherence to machining standards, preventive maintenance, and collaboration with quality engineering on root‑cause analysis and corrective actions. Manage production metrics including output, scrap, downtime, labor efficiency, and on‑time delivery. Support continuous improvement initiatives across safety, cost, and operational excellence. Qualifications Experience managing CNC machining operations from a large high‑volume manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of CNC programming, tooling, machining parameters, and modern manufacturing methods. Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop technical teams.
