Dining Services Hospitality Associate - Cascia Convenience Store Position Title: Dining Services Hospitality Associate – Cascia Convenience Store Position Type: Staff Location: Villanova, PA Recruitment Type: Internal/External Work Schedule: full‑time (12 months, average 40 hours per week) Department: 837‑Dining Services – Cabrini Campus Job Summary As a member of the Dining Services Department, the associate will work in a variety of front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house roles, including food production, serving, cashier, barista, and food prep stations. Duties and Responsibilities Set‑up, maintain, and break down all service lines; prepare and cook food for cold production and for pizza/grill lines. Stock, rotate, and replenish merchandise; handle back‑of‑house production such as salad, fruit bars, deli prep, desserts, and commissary items. Serve customers efficiently and courteously in accordance with the University’s mission and safety standards. Clean and sanitize food equipment and dining room tables and chairs. Work on any of the following stations: sandwich/salad/pizza/grill/Holy Grounds areas and register stations. Assist with special events and weekends as required. Help in the dishroom area (sweeping, mopping, trash/recycling disposal) if needed. Perform additional duties as directed by supervisor or manager. Schedule Sunday – Thursday 4:30 pm – 1:30 am. Shift differential available for qualifying shifts. Start date: on or after June 1 , 2026. Minimum Qualifications Basic reading, writing, and communication skills. Excellent customer service skills. Practices excellent personal hygiene and follows uniform standards. Ability to follow directions, complete assigned tasks, work with minimal supervision, and interact with people regularly. Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Basic knowledge of food‑service safety and sanitation. Serv‑Safe Training and Allergy Awareness Training. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift, push/pull up to 10 pounds independently and up to 40 pounds with assistance. Ability to withstand extreme temperatures. Use of knives, slicers, and all kitchen equipment. Exposure to cleaning chemicals and weather during special events.
