Title : Program Physician - Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Treatment Doctor

This position will be hired as an independent contractor.

Time/Status: Full Time

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

The program physician will meet patients who are addicted to opiate drugs and who are 18 years or older. The program physician will justify that a patient is medically fit to participate in a treatment program. A physical examination is mandated at admission. The Program Physician will collaborate with an evidence-based clinical team, counseling services, and local community services to offer patients the greatest opportunity for sustained recovery and quality of life.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Full or Part-Time (no weekends) On-site services.

· Participate in the patient in-take process, treatment plans, adjusting patient medication, and dismissal of patients currently in treatment

· Physical Examinations when necessary

· Must follow federal, state, county guidelines, rules, regulations, and Company policies and procedures

· Must keep all patient information strictly confidential as governed by federal and state laws.

QUALIFICATIONS: Mandatory

· An active and current Texas Medical license without discipline and completed residency

· One-year experience in the narcotic treatment field

· DEA License

· Texas ID
