Sr. Project Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in food manufacturing and distribution, is seeking a Sr. Project Engineer to join their team. As a Sr. Project Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting project execution and technical development. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Sr. Project Engineer What's the Job? Lead the execution of capital projects, including developing scopes of work, user requirements, project plans, budgets, and cost controls. Ensure all phases of the project delivery process, such as Front-End Engineering and Start-Up Management, are followed effectively. Develop and manage project schedules to meet objectives, coordinating with engineering and construction teams. Establish project practices and procedures related to safety, quality, cost, and schedule adherence. Communicate project status, outages, and potential risks to upper management, acting as the primary link between project teams and leadership. What's Needed? Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Computer, etc.) 3‑5 years of experience in project management or construction management Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment is preferred Knowledge of programming and controls is advantageous Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams What's in it for me?
