By joining our team, you will share in the joy of providing "care with dignity and life with hope."Position Description:For the position of Residential Manager, we are looking for a dedicated, talented individual who has a passion for helping our developmentally disabled adults to achieve their goals and live a full life. Current open position is located in our Babylon, LI group home.A comprehensive benefits package accompanies the position including contributory medical/dental coverage, free life insurance, retirement savings plan, 18 agency holidays, and generous earned time off.Major responsibilities include:Ensure quality of resident care is provided, 24 hrs./day, 7 days/week;Develop and implement Individualized Service Plans;Manage staff scheduling, training, performance management and regulatory compliance;Overseeing optimal household maintenance and adherence to budgets.Our ideal candidate will have:BA/BS plus 2 years' or HSD/GED plus 3-5 years' management or staff supervisory experience in a group home for developmentally disabled adultsQualifications include:Clean, valid NYS Driver's LicenseAbility to accommodate a flexible work schedule according to resident care needsAbility to perform tasks that may require stooping, crouching, and 2-person lifting up to 250 pounds.Ability to maintain personal safety and respond appropriately in a calm, non-confrontational manner during an individual's physical or emotional outburst.Salary: $68,000/yr.Core Work Schedule: 40 hrs./wk. (9a-5p, Tues. - Sat. - Must be flexible) 24/7 On Call Availability requiredThis rate of pay serves as a good faith estimate.
