What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll work closely with business owners and nonprofit leaders to manage their day-to-day accounting, improve processes, and turn financial data into something useful.

Core responsibilities include:

• Manage and oversee full-cycle accounting for multiple clients (monthly close, reconciliations, financial reporting, etc.)
• Work extensively in QuickBooks Online and related apps to maintain accurate, real-time financials
• Help clients clean up, streamline, and improve their accounting systems and workflows
• Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency—then help implement them
• Deliver clear, timely financial reports and help clients understand what the numbers mean
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning conversations
• Serve as a go-to contact for clients—responsive, proactive, and solutions-oriented
• Collaborate with our tax and advisory teams to ensure a seamless client experience

You’re a great fit if you have:

• A degree in accounting or relevant hands-on experience (CPA preferred but not required)
• Experience with full-cycle accounting (public accounting or industry)
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online (or similar cloud-based systems)
• A mindset geared toward process improvement, efficiency, and smart use of technology
• The ability to manage multiple clients and priorities with attention to detail
• Strong communication skills—you can explain financials in plain language
• A proactive, problem-solving approach (you don’t wait to be asked)
• Interest in working closely with small businesses and nonprofits to help them grow
