Through strategic acquisitions, new store developments, and a commitment to customer satisfaction, Yesway continues to solidify its position as one of the leading convenience retailers in the United States.Position ResponsibilitiesPerforms preventive maintenance and repairs on facilities and equipment at our Yesway and Allsup's locations and serves as a subject matter expert in general maintenance functions including, but not limited to: light electrical, light carpentry, plumbing, HVACR and foodservice beverage equipmentFacilitates and inspects work performed by third party vendorsEnsures a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsAccurately maintains inventory and tools on company provided vehicleUtilizes Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to efficiently manage, track, and close work orders, update asset records, and monitor repair historyParticipates in training to keep up to date on how to manage existing and new equipmentContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededEnsure each job is completed in a quality, cost-effective, and timely manner with exceptional customer serviceQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferred and three to five years' experience in the maintenance field.Experience or training in one of the following fields: HVACR, Plumbing, Electrical, or Foodservice Beverage repairBasic Microsoft Office skillsMust have the manual dexterity to operate equipment, work in confined spaces, able to use equipment, work in confined spaces, able to use hand/electric cart, able to use power and hand tools, required crouching and/or crawling, and able to use a ladder.Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple changing priorities and ability to work independently.Must have a valid driver's license and must be insurable as a driver.Must have EPA 608 Type I & II certifications OR EPA 608 Universal HVAC certification, or the willingness to obtain certification within a timeframe designated by managementPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the incumbent to successfully perform the essential functions in a safe manner related to this job.
