Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to join their team. As a Production Manager, you will be an integral part of the operations department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.

Manage all aspects of production to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met

Oversee scheduling of employees to production lines and supervise production line crews, operators, and leadership staff

Monitor employee safety, enforce company policies, and document non-compliances with corrective actions

Assist with inventory management, ensuring correct materials are used and FIFO procedures are followed

Lead continuous improvement initiatives by monitoring operational activities such as line utilization and efficiencies, and facilitate management meetings on these topics

Proven experience managing manufacturing or production operations

Strong leadership and team management skills

Ability to learn and manage production software, programs, and equipment

Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities

Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards
