Job Description & Requirements Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Washington, District of Columbia. Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 06/29/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Washington, District of Columbia Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery Department. The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide safe, competent nursing care for postpartum/mother baby patients, supporting patient‑centered care and demonstrating service excellence. Candidates must bring their license on the first day. Schedule Days, 3 x 12s; 12 shift hours; minimum 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications Current Registered Nurse license to practice in the state/district Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Graduate of an accredited or NLN‑approved RN program BSN (highly desired) Verified Cerner experience Minimum 2 years of experience (postpartum/mother baby experience required) Preferred Qualifications BSN Additional Information Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team; performs a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with current licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements; supports patients including vaginal delivery, C‑section, and GYN surgery; fulfills needs of patients, families, and community.
