Commercial Loan Officer

Job TitleOBJECTIVE Primarily responsible for meeting business development loan goals through an active calling program to develop business relationships. Will be required to identify needs of the business and individuals to provide solutions and cross-sell appropriate Loan, Deposit, Cash Management, Clearview partner, and Wealth Management services. Maintain a strong, professional image in the local community through involvement with community organizations and committees.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's Degree with a focus in business or equivalent combination of educationFormal certifications highly preferred5-10 years of experience in business member relationship managementPrior sales management and/or Community Board Level Involvement strongly preferredUsually manages smaller sized loan portfolios ($35M – $75M)Excellent knowledge of the business industry and corresponding loan productsExceptional PC skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESLoan Production – 75%Responsible for developing, managing and maintaining business relationships, utilizing a follow-up calling program for continuous development of business lending relationshipsDrive loan portfolio and organizational revenue growth by meeting, recommending, and advising business prospects (or existing member business owners) on loan productsConsistently meet 100% of loan production and referral goals setMaintain a thorough knowledge of lending policies, procedures, and guidelines to mitigate riskReview and monitor competitor offerings and rates, making recommendations to management to help streamline product offerings and create and maintain a competitive advantageMember and Employee Experience – 10%Represents the credit union in the community through extraordinary member relations and integrityCommunity Engagement & Brand Awareness– 10%Participate in and support Clearview's commitment to the communities we serveActively talk about Clearview and work as a brand ambassador for the organizationOther Duties as assigned – 5%Support Clearview's Commitment to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion by welcoming and embracing the unique differences of others, treating others fairly and equitably, and creating an inclusive experience where others feel respected and valued; Understand and believe a diverse workplace is essential to the company's vision and success.Clearview values diversity in its workforce.
