Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and independent Construction Manager with a background in mechanical engineering to support our data center construction projects. This role is crucial in ensuring project success by managing site activities, coordinating with stakeholders, and maintaining high-quality execution. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience with construction systems and processes, and the ability to work independently while keeping the project on track. Job Title Construction Manager Roles and Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day construction activities to ensure alignment with project schedules and quality standards. Manage subcontractors, general contractors, and vendors, particularly in Mechanical scopes. Direct and manage installations and functionality on site Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. Proactively identify and resolve on-site construction challenges. Coordinate with project teams, including design, engineering, and commissioning teams. Provide regular progress reports and escalate critical issues when necessary. Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents. Support procurement, logistics, and material management. Lead site meetings and maintain clear communication across all levels of the project. Ensure construction aligns with contract requirements and owner's expectations. Qualifications Strong ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Solid understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and site coordination. Technical expertise in electrical systems, power distribution, and critical infrastructure. Experience working with data center projects or other mission-critical facilities. Proficiency in construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, etc.). Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to dynamic project conditions. Top Three Skills Mechanical Engineering Experience Industrial Construction Background (Exposure to fluids/ high pressure gases in critical environments) (7 years +) Location Cheyenne, Wyoming. (onsite) Salary Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $164,000- $194,000 Annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
