Job Overview Orangeville Animal Health is a mixed animal clinic located in northern Illinois bordering Wisconsin. We provide basic medical and surgical options for small and large animals and focus on herd health management. Responsibilities Provide patient care for small and large animals, with approximately 70% small animal work and 30% large animal work. Share rotating on‑call duties for nights, weekends, and holidays, with scheduled time off to compensate. Support herd health management and consultation services for large animal clients. Provide after‑hours emergency care for large animal patients only. Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) license in both Illinois and Wisconsin. DEA and controlled substance licenses. Solid foundation in veterinary medicine and willingness to continue learning. Experience with mixed animal practice preferred (70% small animal, 30% large animal) but open to negotiation. Benefits Company vehicle with maintenance, gas, inventory, vet bed, and insurance. Stipend for continuing education. 10 days of personal vacation annually. 5 days of dedicated CE time per year. Professional dues covered for IL and WI licenses, IVSMA, AVMA, AABP, and potentially others. Stipend for necessary supplies and clothing. Medical insurance stipend. Liability insurance.
