About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:30 - 19:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years strongly preferred License: State or Multi-State/Compact RN license required Certifications: BLS, Clienttion Badge (provided by agency) required Must-Have: - Scrub experience strongly preferred - Open to accommodating block schedule upon request Description: The role involves working three 12-hour shifts during the day. On-call shifts are required, up to four call shifts every four weeks. Weekend work is required, with up to one working weekend shift every four weeks. Travelers will be required to work at least one holiday period. Experience in a level 1 trauma setting is preferred. RNs are trained to scrub and circulate surgical procedures. The environment is dynamic, nurse-driven, and employs cutting-edge technology. The nursing team consists of both registered nurses and certified surgical technologists. All candidates must complete their lab requirements within specified timeframes. Candidates should be prepared to comply with emergency response protocols during hurricane season. All time off requests must be submitted when applying. RTO (Request Time Off) is restricted and must be disclosed at the time of submission.
