Class A CDL Driver

Position Summary The primary function of a delivery driver is to safely and efficiently operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with company policies along with Federal and State regulations and deliver all freight undamaged. Work as a team player to deliver, load, and unload materials while providing a world‑class customer service experience. Duties & Responsibilities Inspect truck or trailer for defects to ensure safe operation. Safely load building materials onto flatbed or boom truck and unload products at commercial and residential job sites. Deliver materials to assigned areas as directed by the customer while prioritizing personal safety. Maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations. Report all accidents involving driver or company equipment. Lift heavy building materials of up to 100 lbs. for load/unload. Maintain excellent customer service skills and a professional attitude. Basic Qualifications High School diploma or GED. Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL). Minimum Class B Licence, Class A strongly preferred. Clear three‑year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR). Overall knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations. Core competencies: Trust, integrity, servant leadership, and a positive and humble attitude. Demonstrated ability to work independently and on a team, lead and delegate when needed, and build relationships at all levels of the organization. Proactive self‑management and initiative to drive results. Professional verbal and written communication skills with coworkers and customers. Physical Requirements Remain stationary while driving a commercial vehicle 40 % of the time. Lift heavy building materials up to 80 lbs. Frequently move materials weighing up to 80 lbs. while unloading flatbed or boom vehicles. Judge distance accurately while delivering materials or operating a boom. Communicate effectively with management and coworkers. Work outside in all weather conditions while making deliveries. Required Cognitive Skills Prioritize job sites and deadlines. Manage stress during customer deadline windows. Multi‑task effectively. Receive and follow instructions accurately. Communicate solutions quickly when problems arise. Use sound judgment consistently. Compensation & Benefits The base salary for this position typically falls within the range of $23.51 to $29.90 per hour. Starting wages may vary based on location, education, training, and experience. Hourly associates may be eligible for overtime and performance‑based bonuses, commissions, car allowance, automobile and fuel program, and travel reimbursement in accordance with company policy.
