Responsibilities Effective teaching and mentoring of students as they progress through their academic career. Teaching responsibilities for this position will be fulfilled primarily at our Turlock campus. A record of scholarship that will meet AACSB Scholarly Academic standards. Service to the Department of Accounting and Finance, the College of Business Administration, and the University. Academic year appointment; opportunities may exist for an additional Summer Session appointment. Minimum Qualifications Candidates must possess a doctoral degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting or a related field from an AACSB-accredited doctoral institution at the time of appointment. Preferred Qualifications Ability and experience to teach a variety of accounting courses, especially in Intermediate Accounting. Interest in emerging areas such as Artificial Intelligence and/or Data Analytics. Professional certifications and/or relevant industry experience. Commitment to conducting meaningful research, with demonstrated potential to publish in respected, peer-reviewed accounting journals. Evidence of successful and innovative teaching experiences at the undergraduate level and a commitment to support a diverse student body. Anticipated hiring range is $10,386 - $10,915 per month for Assistant Professor (12 monthly payments per academic year). A competitive benefits package is offered.
