Fire Sprinkler Technician

Job Description A well-established and highly respected fire protection company is actively seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Technician to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities:
• Install, inspect, test, service, and repair fire sprinkler systems in commercial, industrial, and residential facilities
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with sprinkler systems, valves, piping, and related equipment
• Perform routine maintenance and ensure systems remain compliant with NFPA standards and local fire codes
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
• Complete service reports, inspection documentation, and maintenance records accurately
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and field personnel to complete projects efficiently
• Respond to service calls and emergency repair situations as needed
• Maintain a safe work environment while following OSHA and company safety standards
Qualifications:
• 2+ years of experience in fire sprinkler installation, service, inspection, or maintenance preferred
• NICET certification is preferred but not required
• Strong understanding of NFPA codes and fire protection systems
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license preferred
Education & Certifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Technical training or trade school education related to fire protection is a plus
• NICET certification or additional fire protection certifications are highly valued
