QA Inspector

Nextek, Inc. is a niche market, technology-driven Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) company, founded in 1995. We offer precision electronic assembly and engineering services to customers with needs-driven, non-commodity products. We partner with companies who have unique product needs and who seek a high level of reliability, commitment and professional service from their manufacturing partners. We are looking for a QA Inspector for our 2nd shift.

Responsibilities:

• Visually inspect SMT and through-hole assemblies for conformance to IPC Class II & III quality standards
• Process quality audits
• Knowledge of IPC-610 standards (if not currently certified, will be responsible for completing training to become certified)

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of IPC-A-610
• Ability to work under a microscope for extended periods of time
• Experience/Education/Training Requirements:
• Experience with auditing process activities
• Soldering experience a plus
• Minimum 2 years experience in electronics manufacturing environment
• High School diploma or equivalent
