Medical LAB Scientist

Description Medical Technologist - Part-Time We are seeking a Medical Technologist (MT) for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Job Summary: The Medical Technologist is responsible for day-to-day supervision or oversight of the Laboratory's operations in the area that they are responsible. The Medical Technologist is responsible for the prompt and accurate performance of all laboratory tests to be performed in designated departments in the Lab. Demonstrates knowledge of quality control, quality improvement, preventive maintenance and functional verification in all equipment in the Lab. Involved in proficiency testing and performance improvement. Must be able to perform and report tests, monitor quality control and provide on-site supervision of testing processes as a daily function. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Must have Bachelors in Medical Technology or equivalent for Nevada License, or chemical, physical or biological sciences and a minimum of three years training/experience in high complexity testing. NV General Supervisor License Laboratory Required ASCP, AMT, or HEW Registry Required **Pay range: $32.44 - $40.55 (depending on experience)** Qualifications Education Required Bachelors or better in Medical Technology or related field.
