OnSite Specialist - Brooklyn, NY

Field-based endoscopy specialist role supporting surgical teams at a Brooklyn facility. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining surgical equipment, troubleshooting device issues, collaborating with clinical staff, and ensuring sterile processing compliance. Position requires flexibility for rotating shifts and travel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, manage, and maintain surgical equipment and disposables for procedural readiness
• Support operating room teams during procedures by anticipating device needs and adjusting equipment
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime and maintain service reliability
• Decontaminate, assemble, and perform function testing on rigid scopes and instrumentation
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, equipment usage, and performance metrics for compliance

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work rotating schedules including on-call and overnight shifts
• Capacity to lift 50 lbs occasionally and 20 lbs frequently with extended standing and fine motor skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with independent decision-making ability
• Proficiency in basic computer applications and interpersonal communication
• CRCST certification required within 6 months of hire
• Preferred: associate's degree or equivalent; 1+ year customer service or clinical support experience
