Assistant Controller

The Assistant Controller will oversee core accounting operations and support the Controller in a fast-paced, evolving manufacturing environment. This role is hands-on and combines technical accounting, month-end close, treasury oversight, financial reporting, and team leadership. Key Responsibilities Lead the month-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, account analysis, and timely financial reporting. Oversee general ledger, inventory, fixed assets, capital expenditures, and treasury activities, including credit and collections. Maintain accurate accounting records and internal controls in accordance with GAAP. Partner with operations and leadership to address accounting issues and provide financial insight. Support forecasting, financial analysis, and cost improvement initiatives. Assist with internal and external audits and ensure required compliance standards are met. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, systems, and month-end efficiency, including the use of technology and automation. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals. Adapt effectively to a fast-changing, growth-oriented environment and help build scalable accounting processes. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of accounting or finance experience. Manufacturing experience strongly preferred. Public accounting and industry experience preferred. Leadership or people-management experience preferred. CPA or CMA is a plus, but not required. Strong Excel skills and experience with financial/accounting systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365, OneStream, and Power BI are a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr Addison Group
