Registered Nurse Wound Care

This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Wound Care. The nurse will be required to work day shifts from Monday to Friday. Responsibilities include providing wound care for various patient conditions such as altered mental status, CHF, stroke, and infections. The nurse will perform procedures including negative pressure wound therapy dressing changes, skin substitutes, debridements, and compression wraps. The role does not require the clinician to float within the facility. Local candidates are accepted for this position. There are restrictions regarding time off, with a maximum of 5 days permitted during the 13-week assignment. No vacation will be approved on or around major holidays. The facility has a zero-fault attendance policy; any missed scheduled shift counts as unexcused. Candidates should be familiar with wound care techniques and possess skills including assessment and management of various wound types. Additional responsibilities may include patient and family education on wound care. This role requires demonstration of ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team. Compliance call out: candidates must commit to going into the lab within 48-72 hours of signing.
