Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:

Seeking a highly experienced registered nurse for a Cardiac Cath Lab/EP position. The role involves circulating, documenting, and providing specialized patient care in a fast-paced cardiac environment with consistent day shifts and on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Circulate and document procedures within the Cath Lab/EP suite, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols.
• Recognize and interpret ECG rhythms accurately, providing real-time assessments during procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotations, including weekends and evenings, as scheduled by the Nurse Manager.
• Complete orientation assessments in ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate with passing scores.
• Maintain compliance with licensure, certifications, and drug screening requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 18 months of recent, permanent experience in a Cath Lab/EP setting prior to travel.
• Valid Ohio or compact license in hand at the time of submission.
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications active and current.
• Proven Epic experience and proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition.
• Two recent managerial references from the past 12 months.
• Ability to pass required assessments, including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate.
