Shift Type:  Rotating 12-hour shifts with every other weekend requirement (Days: Saturday-Sunday; Nights: Friday-Saturday) and holiday rotation shared with permanent staff

Requirements

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert care to mothers and babies throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
• Attend deliveries independently and circulate during C-sections with confidence
• Assist with catching and transitioning newborns while ensuring safety and comfort
• Titrate Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin drips to support optimal patient outcomes
• Monitor fetal heart rates and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with in-house OB/GYNs, Neonatologists, and Anesthesia providers 24/7
• Support high-risk pregnancies including preeclampsia, diabetes, and substance-use cases
• Float within the Birthing Center to Mother-Baby and Postpartum units as needed

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Washington or compact license
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Intermediate or advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring preferred
• Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience; 1 year considered with multiple prior travel assignments
• Comfortable attending deliveries independently and circulating C-sections
• No first-time travelers
