In this role, you will operate powered industrial vehicles including forklifts (hilos) and tuggers to move materials throughout the warehouse and production areas. The ideal candidate has forklift and tugger experience, strong safety awareness, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment supporting automotive production./ppResponsibilities of the PIV Drivers Include:/pulliOperate forklifts (hilos) to unload inbound trailers/liliMove materials to warehouse storage locations/liliHandle pallets, bins, ropacks, and metal racks/liliPick and deliver materials to production areas/liliReplenish supermarket racks using FIFO inventory practices/liliOperate a tugger to transport kitted racks to production lines/liliPerform PIV pre-operation inspections/liliFollow safety standards and 5S workplace organization/li/ulpQualifications/pulliValid Forklift / PIV certification/liliWarehouse or forklift experience required/liliAbility to lift, push, and move materials safely/liliStrong safety awareness and attention to detail/li/ulpAvailable shifts:/pulliMultiple shifts available, flexibility to schedule required/li/ulpCardinal Staffing also follows all applicable state and local laws regarding sick time, paid time off, and retirement savings programs.
