Artech is currently seeking to add to the position. Location: Topeka, KS Duration: 6-12 Months

Job Description: Required skills:

• Proficiency in Python, especially for real-time and socket-based applications.
• Experience with GStreamer or similar multimedia frameworks.
• Understanding of SIP, RTP, and G.711 codec behavior.
• Familiarity with WebSocket protocols and streaming architectures.
• Strong Linux systems knowledge and basic networking skills.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred).
• Python Expertise: The role will require strong Python skills, particularly in real-time data processing and socket programming.
• Media Streaming Knowledge: Familiarity with GStreamer, RTP, and G.711 codec handling is essential.
• Performance Sensitivity Knowledge: Must understand buffering, jitter, and latency management.
• Develops and deploys cloud-based applications using microservices design patterns, integrating front-end, back-end, and middleware components, and persisting data in NoSQL or RDBMS databases.
• Utilizes expertise in multiple layers of application development, including Angular, React, CSS3, HTML5, Java, JEE, Spring, Hibernate, Groovy, REST/SOA services, APIGEE, API Connect, and NoSQL/RDBMS databases.
• Applies DevOps methodologies and tools to ensure efficient development, testing, and deployment of cloud-based applications.
• Works with senior level practitioners to design, build, and maintain cloud environments, focusing on uptime, access, control, and network security using automation and configuration management tools.
