Fitter / WelderWe are seeking a skilled and dependable Fitter / Welder to join our fabrication team. The Fitter / Welder will be responsible for fitting, assembling, and welding metal components according to drawings, specifications, and production requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and work instructionsFit, align, and assemble structural and fabricated metal componentsPerform MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding as requiredMeasure, mark, cut, and prepare materials for fabricationUse grinders, cutting tools, drills, and other fabrication equipmentSet up and operate welding machines and related equipmentInspect welds and finished assemblies for quality and accuracyMake adjustments to ensure proper fit, alignment, and dimensionsPerform basic welding equipment maintenance and troubleshootingMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaFollow all company safety procedures and PPE requirementsMeet production schedules while maintaining quality standardsQualificationsPrevious experience as a fitter, welder, fabricator, or similar manufacturing position preferredExperience with MIG, TIG, or stick weldingAbility to read and understand blueprints and fabrication drawingsAbility to use tape measures, squares, levels, calipers, and other measuring toolsKnowledge of metal fabrication and welding processesMechanical aptitude and good problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and qualityAbility to safely operate hand tools and power toolsReliable attendance and ability to work independently or as part of a teamAbility to stand for extended periods and lift or move materials as requiredCommitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE
