Shift: 06:30-14:30, Weekly on Mondays

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated team in the Operating Room. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced surgical environment, supporting specialties including General Surgery, Plastics, Pain Management, Ophthalmology, Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, and Vascular procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room and equipment.
• Provide care to adult and geriatric patients undergoing surgical procedures.
• Administer medications and maintain patient safety during surgeries.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and communicate effectively regarding patient care.
• Perform necessary documentation and post-operative care as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess an active RN license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required; PALS certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an Operating Room setting.
• Ability to float to PACU if needed, though not required.
