Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Client Centered Counseling Center, your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments to identify the emotional and psychological needs of clients and families.
  • \n
  • Providing individual therapy sessions for clients as well as joint sessions with couples and families, focusing on improving communication and resolving conflicts.
  • \n
  • Implementing evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to the needs of children, adolescents, and adults.
  • \n
  • Addressing a variety of issues including relationship dynamics, grief, trauma, and adjustment to life changes.
  • \n
  • Collaborating with other mental health professionals in multidisciplinary team meetings to create holistic treatment plans and ensure continuity of care.
  • \n
  • Maintaining accurate and timely client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • \n
  • Participating in ongoing professional development to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge.
  • \n
Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will focus on working with a diverse clientele, including families dealing with:

  • Alcohol and substance abuse struggles
  • \n
  • Physical and psychological abuse repercussions
  • \n
  • Grief and loss challenges
  • \n
  • Separation, divorce, and the emotional adjustment that follows
  • \n
  • Interpersonal family conflicts and communication difficulties
  • \n
  • Challenges related to blended families and remarriage
  • \n
Clients will benefit from your specialized skills in fostering connection and growth in their relationships and family dynamics.\n

Qualifications\n

The following qualifications are required for the position:

  • A valid and current state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • \n
  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
  • \n
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for the development of a trusting therapeutic alliance.
  • \n
  • An empathetic and nonjudgmental approach to client experiences and struggles.
  • \n
  • Effective organizational and time-management skills to manage a full caseload efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

While experience with various populations and presenting issues is valuable, our ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience with telehealth practices and adaptability to virtual therapy settings.
  • \n
  • A strong background in relational therapy modalities, including but not limited to Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
  • \n
  • Diverse experience working with children and adolescents, as well as adults.
  • \n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Beyond salary, we provide:
