**Description** **The Best Teams are Created and Maintained Here.** **Job Summary** + The Snow Truck Driver is responsible for performing all tasks related to snow removal. This on-call position requires availability for shifts ranging from 6 to 12 hours, often scheduled overnight depending on the snow event. Extended hours may be required during major storm events. The snow removal season begins with the first snowfall. **Duties and Responsibilities:** + Operate a variety of snow removal equipment, including pow and box trucks, ATVs with plows, snow blowers, shovels, and e-pokes (salt spreaders), to ensure safe and efficient clearing of the designated areas. + Work with sidewalk crews to complete snow removal assignments safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. **Education and Experience:** + 3 years of commercial experience using a plow truck or salt truck. + 3+ years of commercial snow experience using Skid-Steer, Front End Loader, Backhoe, or equivalent vehicles with plows and snow containment boxes. + 18 years of age or older + A valid and clean driver's license with no restrictions (CDL is NOT required) + Work well under pressure while observing safety guidelines. + Have a smart phone (to download and use our attendance tracker App) + Dependable transportation. + Attendance at and successful completion of required training, as well as passing a background check are mandatory. + Able to lawfully work in the USA. **Physical Demands/Requirements:** + Be able to lift, push, or carry 50 to 60 pounds without restriction. + Be at least 18 years old (21 if operating company provided vehicles) + Possess strong stamina and have the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions including extreme heat and cold. + Able to safely operate landscaping equipment (e.g., mowers, trimmers, blowers, edgers). + Able to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, stand, walk continuously throughout the day and perform repetitive motions for extended periods. + Able to perform manual labor using a variety of hand tools (e.g. shovels, rakes) + You are able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (e.g., safety shoes, high-visibility clothing, hand protection, eye protection, hearing protection, head protection) + Landscapers who will be operating a BrightView fleet vehicle are required to have a valid driver's license and meet company standards as it relates motor vehicle performance identified on a state issued motor vehicle record check. + Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays if needed. + Ability to maintain, in your possession at all times, required medications to address any known allergic reactions should they occur. **Work Environment:** + Shifts are on-call and range from 6 to 12 hours and are often overnight depending on the storm event.
