Jamaica Hospital Medical Center is seeking skilled Registered Respiratory Therapists who thrive in fast-paced clinical environments and want to play a critical role in the care of critically ill patients.As a member of our Respiratory Care team, you'll work alongside physicians, nurses, and critical care teams throughout a 384-bed teaching hospital, helping patients through some of their most challenging momentsWHAT YOU'LL DOProvide respiratory care services across a variety of patient populationsManage mechanical ventilation and oxygen therapyAdminister aerosolized medications and respiratory treatmentsMonitor and assess patient respiratory statusRespond to respiratory emergencies throughout the hospitalParticipate in Cardiac Arrest, Rapid Response, and Trauma Team activationsCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement treatment plansEducate patients and families regarding respiratory therapies and treatmentsWHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR This opportunity is intended for Respiratory Therapists who are ready to practice at the top of their license in an acute care hospital environment.
