In this role, you will be an integral part of our clinical care team, providing both direct patient care and essential administrative support to ensure smooth, efficient operations.**Clinical Duties (Patient Care):*** **Patient Intake:** Greet patients, escort them to exam rooms, interview them for the reason for their visit, and take accurate medical histories.* **Vitals & Measurements:** Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, weight, and height.* **Exam Assistance:** Assist physicians or nurses during examinations and procedures.* **Clinical Procedures:** Prepare and administer medications and injections under supervision.* **Patient Education:** Educate patients on treatment plans, medication instructions, and follow-up care as directed by the provider.* **EHR Management:** Accurately update and maintain patient records in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.* **Scheduling:** Schedule patient appointments and coordinate hospital admissions or specialist referrals.* **Communication:** Answer phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and relay messages to providers.* **Inventory:** Monitor and restock medical supplies and exam rooms.* **Compliance:** Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations and safety protocols.**Required Qualifications & Skills*** **Education:** High school diploma or equivalent.* **Training:** Completion of an accredited medical assistant program.* **Certification:** Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or similar preferred credential (CCMA).* **Experience:** 1–2 years of experience in a clinical or fast-paced medical office setting (preferred).* **Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.* **Technical Skills:** Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) software and general office technology.* **Communication:** Strong verbal and written communication skills with an empathetic, patient-focused approach.* **Organization:** Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a high-demand environment.**Job Type: Full-time**Monday through Friday Day Shift**Benefits:*** 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Vision insurance* 6 Paid Holidays* STD and LTDWork Location: In personWe promote healing and recovery in an intimate, compassionate family atmosphere.
