Rebecca Caroline is looking for a Host/Hostess to create the first and last impression of the guest experience. This individual welcomes and checks in guests, manages the flow of the tasting room and patio, and ensures every guest is seated and cared for promptly and warmly — while also keeping service areas stocked, reset, and running smoothly behind the scenes.

This role blends front-of-house hospitality with hands-on operational support: greeting and seating guests, managing the waitlist and reservations, and coordinating with tasting room staff — alongside restocking supplies, resetting tables, and maintaining a clean, guest-ready space throughout the shift. It is best suited to someone who enjoys people, stays composed and productive under pressure, and takes pride in a consistently high standard of service.

• Greet and check in guests promptly and warmly as they arrive at Rebecca Caroline

• Manage the host stand, waitlist, and reservations to maintain a smooth, well-paced guest flow

• Escort guests to their seats and communicate wait times clearly and courteously

• Exceed customer service expectations in a consistent, timely, and thoughtful manner; resolve guest service issues quickly, turning problems into opportunities

• Coordinate and collaborate with tasting room, kitchen, and event staff to keep service running smoothly

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized host stand, lobby, restrooms, and dry goods area in compliance with William Chris Wine Company standards

• Clear and reset tables in a timely and consistent manner to keep pace with guest flow

• Stock and replenish glassware, supplies, and service materials throughout shifts

• Assist with event setup, breakdown, and movement of furniture and equipment as needed

• Complete opening and closing operational tasks, including trash and recycling

• Additional duties as assigned

• Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail

• Responds and works well under pressure

• Ability to multitask and maintain a smooth flow at the host stand

• Works independently with little supervision

• Excellent time management and organizational skills

• Team player with the ability to coordinate with all levels of the business

• This position has no supervisory responsibilities

• Fast-paced winery and hospitality environment

• Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, including patio and event spaces

• Regular exposure to varying weather conditions, including heat and cold

• Travel to and from the main worksite (daily commute) is at the expense of the employee and is not considered time worked

• Must have the ability to multitask and complete duties, tasks, and projects despite interruptions

• Must be a self-starter with the ability to complete duties, tasks, and projects with little or no supervision

• Availability to work peak business days, including weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and some holidays

• Flexibility to occasionally work early mornings or late evenings in support of events and operational needs

• TABC, Food Handler, and Texas Wine Ambassador certifications are required; if not currently held, the Company will pay for the employee to acquire them
