CDL Driver

Job Description Job Description RapidFire Rentals is looking for a CDL Driver to join our team! Duties & Responsibilities * Safely operate Class A commercial trucks and trailers to deliver and pick up heavy construction equipment and rental units. * Load, secure, and unload heavy equipment (e.g., skid steers, mini-excavators, compactors) safely at customer job sites. * Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and trailers. * Maintain delivery documentation and ensure accurate shipment paperwork. * Follow DOT safety and federal/state transportation regulations. Qualifications * Valid CDL Class A license . * Clean driving record, ability to pass background check, drug screen, and DOT physical. * Experience hauling construction or heavy equipment preferred. * Ability to lift up to ~75 lbs and assist with rigging loads when needed. * experience with detach trailer is preferred but will train the right candidate. * knowledge of rental equipment operation is also preferred, driver will be responsible to load and unload trailer. Responsibilities * Keeping control of electronic logs * Safely securing loads and delivering loads to job locations * Obeying and following all traffic laws. * Reporting defects, accidents, and violations * Performing daily maintenance of truck * Communicating and coordinating with dispatcher Pay will be determined by experience.
