Electrical Superintendent

Responsibilities
• Supervise daily electrical field operations and manage electrical crews
• Coordinate work with project managers, general contractors, and other trades
• Plan and execute electrical installation activities in accordance with project schedules
• Interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and shop drawings
• Ensure compliance with NEC, local electrical codes, and project requirements
• Enforce safety policies and conduct job-site safety meetings
• Monitor productivity, manpower, materials, and equipment usage
• Identify and resolve field issues, clashes, and design discrepancies
• Coordinate inspections with authorities, consultants, and clients
• Maintain daily reports, manpower logs, and progress documentation
• Support project closeout, testing, and commissioning activities


Required Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Electrical Superintendent
• Strong background in commercial and/or industrial electrical construction
• Thorough knowledge of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and low-voltage systems
• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and specifications
• Proven leadership and crew management skills
• Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication and coordination skills


Preferred Qualifications
• OSHA or equivalent safety certification
• Experience with BIM coordination and construction scheduling
• Familiarity with project management software
