JCDecaux is currently seeking a Junior Purchasing Buyer , who will report to the Director of Program Management. This position is on the manufacturing side of the business. You will be sourcing and purchasing goods & services for custom-designed products, that will be utilized for our Street Furniture, Airport, and Mall programs. This is a full-time position based in our main office at the Empire State Building and will operate in a hybrid work model. Key Responsibilities:

Base Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000.

JCDecaux is currently seeking a Junior Purchasing Buyer , who will report to the Director of Program Management. This position is on the manufacturing side of the business. You will be sourcing and purchasing goods & services for custom-designed products, that will be utilized for our Street Furniture, Airport, and Mall programs. This is a full-time position based in our main office at the Empire State Building and will operate in a hybrid work model. Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain quotes from suppliers and create purchase orders in our SAP ERP system.
- Oversee open PO’s, supplier confirmations, and delivery commitments.
- Collaborate closely with the Purchasing and Finance Teams to effectively meet process flow requirements.
- Conduct Annual Supplier Evaluations.
- Coordinate Purchase Requests with external Operations Staff across the country.
- Manage all Departmental Expense Type purchases.
- Maintain accurate PO and Material Master data in SAP.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Purchasing
- Community College/Technical School Degree preferred.
- Ability to interpret Engineering drawings.
- Experience using Excel to generate reports and charts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Extremely organized and efficient.
- General understanding of Purchasing & Invoice process flow.
