Posting Title Project Manager – Energy Reports To Project Executive Location Ransom, Illinois Salary Range $89,250 to $145,000 Job Overview The Project Manager – Energy will primarily work on‑site at the project location or in the office. Travel frequency and duration will vary depending on the role and project timeline. The final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will depend on market location and the candidate’s knowledge, skills, education, and experience. The compensation package is competitive and designed to recognize experience, credentials, and education, complemented by a robust benefits program. The Energy Team Our Energy Group builds projects from the field to the grid, including solar, battery storage, substation, EV charging, microgrid, and converter station projects. Our project managers, engineers, and field employees deliver when it matters most. About The Role We are seeking Construction Project Management professionals prepared to work as long‑term travelers with per diem supplements where applicable. The Project Manager will be responsible for day‑to‑day operations of construction projects and the successful management of a high‑performing team. Key responsibilities include planning, execution, and financial performance of projects using business practices aligned with our values – people, safety, integrity, innovation, and excellence. About You You are willing and excited to learn with a continuous focus on cultivating a growth mindset. You bring a wide range of skills from organization to communication and collaboration. You are comfortable taking initiative, owning your work, and prioritizing safety. What You Will Gain You will follow a career development path to project management, working directly with a project manager or executive and partnering with field, engineering, and design teams. You will gain on‑the‑job experience, mentoring, and opportunities to attend vendor off‑sites, training classes, and other learning experiences. Minimum Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or similar preferred. Licensure/Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent preferred. Experience: Three (3) years in renewable energy, PV preferred. Driving Record: Valid state‑issued driver’s license and satisfactory driving record. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
