Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol in Anacortes, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support daily site operations through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all persons at the location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout refinery operations areas, administrative buildings, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential hazards.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for authorized personnel, visitors, and contractors, helping to support access control procedures and compliance with location rules.
• Communicate clearly with site personnel, visitors, and emergency responders regarding security-related concerns, post orders, and/or changing conditions at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
