Desired Qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina teaching license in Special Education, or eligibility for reciprocal certification with an active out-of-state license
• Previous experience working in a school setting preferred; motivated new educators are also encouraged to apply

• Strong work ethic and collaborative spirit
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instruction and support to elementary students with special needs, adapting lessons to meet IEP goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote academic and behavioral success
• Develop and implement effective classroom management strategies
• Accurately maintain student records and documentation in compliance with all regulations
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
