Delta Health Clinic is seeking a compassionate, organized Medical Assistant to support our providers by delivering high-quality patient care and administrative assistance.

Key Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain vital signs, and collect medical histories.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during visits.
• Document patient encounters, procedures, test results, and provider notes in the electronic health record (EHR), including serving as a medical scribe when needed.
• Administer injections, medications, wound care, and perform blood draws.
• Communicate test results and medication updates to patients.
• Schedule appointments, answer phones, maintain medical records, and support general clinic operations.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and all applicable regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CMA or EMT certification required upon hire or obtained within 18 months of hire.
• AMT Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification preferred.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• Previous medical assistant experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of patient care procedures and medical office operations.
• Commitment to providing excellent patient service while maintaining confidentiality.
