Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

$3133.44/week - Job Summary: Provides comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients, ensuring adherence to established standards and patient-centered practices. Supervises nursing staff, collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, and coordinates care to promote optimal health outcomes. Responsibilities: Deliver skilled nursing assessments and interventions tailored to medical-surgical patients. Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff, ensuring appropriate care delivery. Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients and healthcare teams. Evaluate patient progress and adjust care strategies to meet evolving needs. Educate patients and families on health management, treatment plans, and discharge instructions. Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards. Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice. Minimum of two years recent experience in a medical-surgical or acute care setting. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor. Proficiency in EPIC and Cerner electronic medical record systems. Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and communication skills. Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) and experience with EMR documentation.
