SUPERVISORY INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

DutiesSupports the planning, development, implementation, and management of effective and affordable product support strategies for supply throughout the life cycle for weapons, materiel or information systems.Supports the development and implements outcome-based supply support strategies that optimize supply chain management principles to enhance system readiness and life cycle cost affordability.Reviews disciplinary cases of workgroup personnel and recommends actions when applicable.Reviews position structure of supervised workgroup to ensure optimum balance between economy, efficiency, and skill utilization.Supports and addresses supply planning impacts to system cost, schedule, performance, life cycle management and supportability requirements.Manages and delivers repairable products and services to enable and sustain systems for operational readiness.Analyzes information to make decisions and achieve functional unit objectives.Evaluates individual and workgroup performance against approved program plans, schedules, and forecasts.Plans and assigns work to be accomplished by subordinates, establishing priorities, and preparing schedules for completion.Consults with appropriate personnel regarding training needs to enhance mission achievement.
