This locum tenens OBGYN position provides a mix of inpatient labor & delivery and outpatient clinic care, flexible scheduling options, and collaboration with a dedicated clinical team. • Weekly Estimated Pay: $8,290 - $8,880
• Location: Hood River, OR 97031 (Oregon locum tenens job)
• Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient (Clinic & Call) - Labor & Delivery, Antepartum, Postpartum, Women's Health Clinic
• Shift Times: Clinic 8am-5pm; 24-hour call 7am-7am; night call 5pm-7am
• Shift Duration: 8-hour clinic days; variable call shifts
• Schedule: Full-time preferred; flexible locum schedules available (1 week on/1 week off or 2 weeks on/2 weeks off)
• Patient Encounters Per Shift: 15 (mix of prenatal visits, gynecology procedures, deliveries)
• Start Date: September 1, 2026
• End Date: Ongoing (long-term locum tenens opportunity)

• Minimum 1 year clinical experience in Obstetrics & Gynecology or recent residency completion
• Active Oregon medical license (or eligible for expedited licensure)
• DEA registration required
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology (within 3-5 years acceptable)
• Current BLS and NRP certifications
• Ability to provide OB and GYN case logs for privileges within the last 24 months
• Comfort with low and high-risk pregnancy management, emergency OB procedures, and routine gynecologic surgery

• Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care in clinic and hospital/L&D settings, including labor management and delivery coverage
• Perform and interpret Level I/screening OB ultrasounds
• Manage low- and high-risk pregnancies and perform routine and complicated deliveries (vaginal, operative vaginal/forceps, C-section, breech, multiple births)
• Repair 3rd and 4th degree perineal lacerations and manage obstetric emergencies
• Conduct office and minor gynecologic procedures (IUD insertion/removal, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.)
• Assist with minor and preferred major gynecologic surgical cases when needed
• Cover beeper call shifts including weeknight and 24-hour weekend coverage and participate in clinic days
• Collaborate with the clinical team, participate in virtual interviews/onboarding, and maintain accurate documentation and case logs
