Refer to Required Documents section for more information.Major DutiesAt the full performance level (GS-09) the major duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following:Performs preliminary analyses and advises on the organization, methods, and procedures for providing administrative support matters such as records, communications, directives, forms, files, and documentation.Performs preliminary analysis regarding the effectiveness of commonly occurring functions and work processes present in line or operating programs (e.g., visitor services, interpretation, education, protection, security, natural resources, cultural resources, historic preservation, scientific research, special park uses, permitting, recreation fees, concessions, partnerships, leasing, facilities, maintenance, and housing).Prepares and delivers reports and briefings to managers or the supervisor on study findings and recommendations. Works with management, program leads, and/or higher graded analysts to ensure that findings are complete and technically accurate.Analyzes budget projections for program areas based on past budgets and plans. May assist with larger scale studies or program evaluations and work with higher graded analysts to complete portions of the studies, or aid in organizational analysis and review, position management and control, and/or productivity improvement.Duties will be developmental in nature when filled below the full performance level.
