Job Title: Digital Verification Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an expert Digital Verification Engineer to propose and implement innovative verification strategies for simulating and validating functional blocks, cores, and subsystems. This role will involve collaborating with systems engineers and architects to ensure the thorough validation of the product family.

• Understand the architecture and functional requirements of projects to communicate effectively with systems engineers and architects.
• Conduct complete and detailed validation of entire subsystems using simulation, formal, and coverage methods.
• Create, review, and optimize simulation environment components, test case scenarios, and formal verification test plans.
• Lead or mentor focused groups of individuals towards specific objectives, when appropriate.
• Estimate schedules and track progress towards timely completion while providing regular status updates.
• Serve as an ASIC Verification Prime, managing all aspects of the verification of digital components and collaborating with partner teams for comprehensive coverage.
• Participate in architectural and design reviews to advise on verification impacts and improvements.

• Expert-level experience with System Verilog, UVM, SVA, and simulators from major vendors.
• Proven ability in determining appropriate and comprehensive digital verification and coverage strategies.
• Excellent organization, written, and oral English communication skills.

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience with DSP and/or Forward Error Correction.
• Familiarity with using Jira for bug tracking and GIT for source code management.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Make, bash, object-oriented programming, C, and C++.
• Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

This position offers a professional work environment within a small team of 15 people, providing opportunities for close collaboration and impactful contributions.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pittsford, NY.

The pay range for this position is $72.00 - $110.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
