Job Overview:This role is part of the US DBA Team responsible for the administration, support, and optimization of SQL Server, Azure Data Services, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and enterprise data platforms. Essential Qualifications and Education:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field7+ years of hands-on SQL Server DBA experience supporting production systemsExperience with SSRS, SSIS, Azure SQL, and Microsoft FabricExperience administering Power BI Service and enterprise reporting platformsStrong knowledge of SQL Server performance tuning, HA/DR, Always On, clustering, replication, backup, and recoveryExperience with schema design, schema migration, data conversion, and database performance optimizationStrong knowledge of AI capabilities, tools, and usage trendsProficiency in T-SQL and PowerShell or Python scriptingExperience with data integration, data warehousing, and analytics platformsFamiliarity with third-party RDBMS and NoSQL technologiesStrong communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skillsAbility to support U.S. Central Time business hours and work effectively both independently and within a teamPreferredSQL, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Database offerings, Power BI related certificationExperience leading data platform, analytics, and cloud modernization projectsExperience Administration of pipelines, development, and troubleshooting#LI-CA1 #DICEKey Tasks and Responsibilities:Perform database administration including installation, configuration, monitoring, performance tuning, troubleshooting, SOX compliance, audits, backups, recovery, patching, and upgrades for on-premises and Azure SQL environmentsManage Development, Test, QA, and Production databases and implement enhancements to meet business needsMonitor database health, availability, capacity, reliability, and performanceConfigure and support Always On, clustering, replication, backup, and disaster recovery solutionsExecute database changes through established change management processesSupport database schema design, migration, data conversion, and performance optimizationCollaborate with application teams, vendors, and business users to resolve database-related issuesAdminister and support Microsoft Fabric capacities, workspaces, lakehouses, warehouses, pipelines, and securityDesign, develop, and support data ingestion and ETL/ELT processes using FabricSupport Fabric deployments and promotions across environmentsAdminister gateways, datasets, workspaces, refresh schedules, and securitySupport enterprise reporting, dashboards, analytics solutions, and data governanceSupport AI initiatives and use modern AI tools for innovation and productivity Participate in data modernization, cloud migration, and analytics projectsProvide after-hours support and maintenance as requiredFull timePosting Date: 2026-09-04
