Radiology Technologist (Full-time Night Shift) Job Summary: Our imaging teams are a committed, caring group of professionals. We are currently seeking a Florida‑licensed Radiology Technologist on a full‑time basis. You will take radiographs (x‑rays) of patients which will assist physicians in diagnoses and treatment and perform procedures accurately and in a careful, compassionate, and respectful manner. Responsibilities Possess sound and thorough knowledge of all diagnostic radiographic procedures and related equipment including surgical, portable, trauma, general, and fluoroscopic radiographic procedures. Obtain high‑quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images, ensuring only optimal images are submitted for interpretation using appropriate lead markers and date/time stickers where indicated. Select proper technical factors and techniques to accommodate patients and assist in the administration of contrast media when indicated. Prepare, transfer, and position patients as needed, ensuring modesty and safely utilizing auxiliary equipment and/or devices indicated. Document all pertinent clinical information prior to exam, obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields within MEDITECH accurately and on time. Maintain proactive and effective communication with patients and other caregiver colleagues, including the radiologist. Check equipment operation, maintain cleanliness of tables/equipment to prevent cross‑contamination of contagious diseases, and keep rooms stocked with linens and necessary supplies. Qualifications 2‑year or associate degree. Valid ARRT credentials. Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Minimum of 1‑3 years of experience, preferably in an acute‑care hospital setting. Ability to perform work requiring frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
