Travel Registered Nurse - Telemetry
Location: Aurora, CO
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: 7 PM - 7 AM
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Telemetry to join our team. This role requires providing care to a diverse patient population, particularly in cardiac telemetry settings, while being adaptable to float across various units as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess patients with telemetry needs.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their conditions and treatments.
- Administer medications and manage IV therapies as prescribed.
- Document patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum 1-year current acute care telemetry hospital experience.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Strong telemetry experience preferred.
- Chemo certification is a plus.
